He was WAY over the top on that...I can't explain it..but, your suggestion may explain it better.
I mean, even the most partisan dems have "couched" their remarks about the Israeli attacks with some sort of "well they were attacked, they should be able to defend themselves"...rhetoric.
But, dang, when he started saying that 2 Israeli soldiers is NOTHING to fight this fight over, I just sat here with my mouth open.
I think the civil liberties of the 2 abducted Israeli soldiers were violated. Call the press. Err....LOL
hell, we decimated Japan and nuked two of their cities - because we lost 2000+ sailors at Pearl Harbor. I guess that was "dis-proportionate" too.

Yup, and he wasn't even making sense or being consistent in his rantings. In the same breath he said Israel was overreacting, he volunteered that it would be "fine" if they had hit the Iranian and Syrian embassies. Think about that for a minute. Talk about a contradiction.
