I know what you mean. But I really think if we handle ourselves calmly, once that web site is up and running we could have a positive impact on the Democrats who sign up and read that web site.
Our research is the best around and I'll bet we'd be telling some people things they didn't know and we just might have the ability to change some minds.
As well, an October web site open coincides with the November election and we can and should consider an organized effort to contribute positively.

I know what you mean exactly. I was brought up to respond to "inquiries", etc., and it seems rude to ignore pings.
But unless someone is specifically asking me a question or answering a question that I asked, I often don't respond.
Dowd and McKinnon I believe used to be Democrats recruited by Rove. Maybe Lockhart wants a change as well. I am going to keep an open mind.

Kerry is undoubtedly in hiding for other reasons. The big news in Boston this week was the fatality in a Big Dig tunnel -- a woman was crushed by a 3-ton concrete ceiling panel. The tunnel's still closed. Talk radio was about nothing else -- RKO even preempted Rush all week. There's lots coming out about the corruption and incompetence that have marked the project.
Kerry was Lt Gov under Dukakis, who was governor when the whole mess started. And - after he was in the Senate - I heard on the radio that he summoned all the local reporters who were questioning the Big Dig's safety/feasibility years ago and told them we all had to put on a "united front" to keep the federal money flowing.
