The Lord of This World is running amok (having free reign therein), and will beguile and deceive you with appearances of light (and all sorts of amazing things).
The report that you mentioned is only the beginning of what is to come. I was on DU today looking up something - did you know there is no search functionality at DU? Did you know that? WHAT IN THE WORLD KIND OF RESPECTABLE FORUM DOESN"T HAVE A SEARCH FUNCTION?????? What was I talking about? Oh, yeah, there were no less than 5 threads evident where they were cheering, clammoring and begging the Rapture to occur. Yeah, as if that's going to solve the liberal person's problems.
You mark my words well: when (not IF), the Rapture happens, and if it happens in the very immediate future, ALL of you remaining to read my words thereafter will positively, and totally, rue these days right now.

So you believe that God, who wants on to base our belief in Him on faith, will pull all of the believing Christians out of the world "in the twinkling of an eye" and leave everyone else here to decide for themselves if he really does exist.
Wouldn't such an event leave absolutely no doubt to those "left behind" and totally erase the decide for yourself option?
I have some trouble with the rapture concept... but it's okay for you... I guess.
