Did Israel just hit Syrian forces on the Lebanon border inside Lebanon?

From all I have seen so far, Israel hit a border crossing on the Lebanese side. There have been no reports of Syrian forces being there. Syria is saying that it was not hit.

So far Syria seems to be all mouth. That's why I wanted to know if they actually had troops inside Lebanon, and if Israel targeted them.

I'm VERY curious to see their level of involvement. My sense is that they don't really want to mix with Israel head-on.
