My husband came home right as they were starting so I missed most of what he had to say.. hopefully someone else can fill us both in..
I know... And the news report I heard was that the ship that was hit is the same one that hit the Hezbollah leader's place, so they hit it in retaliation (so of course probably no intel)
There were 2 ships hit, the other was the Cambodian merchant ship.

Most Lebanese want Hezbullah out of the country. Many Lebanese also hate Israel. Right now, though most of the Lebanese don't want to be bombed.
Israel's goal now is to demolish Hezbullah, not Lebanon. It has changed from simply getting the soldiers out. It changed once Hezbullah started targeting major Israeli cities with rockets.
I hope this helps.
From Mark Regev (Israeli Foreign Min. spokesman): The Israeli command is planning on closing schools, restaurants, etc. and telling it's citizens to bunker down. It's giving the "Home Command" military to close down public and private institutions to save life.
Probably done in preparation for an incursion into lebanon and the expected firing of mass barrages of kaytusha, farji and Zedval missiles
LOL.........thanks, we need a bit of comic relief occasionally.
Mitchell was laways a bloviating snotwad..excuse me..
Good one.
BTW, if you, or anyone else comes into possession of 1m per pixel RT overheads from just south of the Israel/Leb border, can you forward them to me?

James or John? James is the Pallie/ Arab sympathizer that appears regularly on CNN. John is the Lib pollster...
Lebanon may send troops to the south of Lebanon. They didn't say why.
Unless they are there to remove/fight Hizbullah they will be targets for the IDF
The UAV theory is out the window....
Reuters reports A military source said a C802 radar-guided missile with a range of 60 miles (100 km) had been fired at the ship as it sat off the coast. The C802 is also known as the Noor, according to NTI. The C802 is the Iranian version of the the Chinese Jing YJ-82, and Following the 1991 Gulf War Iran imported the C-802 antiship cruise missile from China. Wikipedia claims Iran purchased up to 60 C802 missiles. The C802 antiship missile can be launched from aircraft. In April of 2006, Iran claimed the the C802 (or Noor) can be fired from aircraft:
