Body of one of the four missing Israeli sailors found - Israeli radio.
No story yet, only BBC Headline
Prayers for his family!
Fox reporting that 2 bodies were found. 2 missing.
We stand with you Israel and mourn your loss as ours.
Have you seen any confirmation as to what actually struck the ship. This morning, I'm hearing a missile, which, if so would have been the proverbial " 1 in a million" lucky shot. Yesterday, they said a UAV, which I question..becuase they don't have the technology. I wonder if it was a kamikaze mission..it had a pilot, and he just surprised the Israelis..
Fox tonight said it was a Chinese Silkworm ... more Iran.
Perhaps Iran. However, remember Saddam had a silkwork that he used to hit a theatre in Kuwait in 2003. I find it hard to believe he only bought one.

"Yesterday, they said a UAV, which I question..becuase they don't have the technology."
Not many people really understand the term 'To beg the question'. Most belive it to be a synonym for 'Which prompts the question'.
Your statement above is however a text book example of the true meaning. To wit: A circular argument!
In this case you are basing a premise on prepostion which is itself to be proven.
How about, "It's not likely to have been a UAV, as they are not known to have that technology"
War is breaking out in the Middle East, and you're picking nits. Sheesh.
OK..thanks, I guess..(g)
Now they're saying a C-802 from the Silkworm family, which makes more sense as a smaller, and more self-contained system.
"How about, "It's not likely to have been a UAV, as they are not known to have that technology"
War is breaking out in the Middle East, and you're picking nits. Sheesh."
That's better ;-)
In all seriousness though, if you reckon I'm flippant what does that the national TV station news which ran with a concussed footballer as the lead item here in Australia? Notwithstading that Melbourne Australia has one of the largest ex-patriot Lebanese and a large Jewish community.
Then again maybe that is a good thing?
We've got more international coverage near Chicago, but nothing on any local angles.
Meanwhile, my wife's got a number of cousins that live north of Beirut, and the whole family is pretty upset about the whole thing.
Well I hope all the family stay safe. It must be scary for non-combatants on both sides of the border.
What a shame.
Drives me nuts when people (especially talking heads who think it makes them sound smart) casually toss out that phrase without having the slightest clue what it means.
Or, for that matter, being able to understand what it means.
