Talk About A Bad Draw! (Plame/Wilson Lawsuit Judge)
Captain's Quarters ^ | July 14, 2006 | Captain Ed

Posted on 07/15/2006 1:42:47 AM PDT by Lancey Howard

Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame have run into a bit of bad luck in their lawsuit against Dick Cheney, Scooter Libby, Karl Rove, and ten random Republicans. CQ reader Denis K took a peek at the complaint and noticed something that I had missed earlier -- the judge assigned to the case. Wilson and Plame drew Judge John D. Bates -- and a quick glance at his rulings will no doubt have the Left fuming.

“So, Mr. President, the truth is Joe Wilson did not expose the Administration; in fact, he has been exposed as a liar.

“He misrepresented the findings of his trip to Niger, he fabricated stories about recognizing forgeries he never saw, he falsely accused the White House of manipulating intelligence, and he misrepresented his wife’s role in promoting him for the mission.

“Joe Wilson’s false claims have been exposed, but the networks aren’t rushing to correct the story. Will NBC correct the 40 times it ran Wilson’s claims, will CBS correct the 30 times it ran Wilson’s claims, will ABC correct the 18 times it ran Wilson’s claims?

Great speech. Thanks for posting the whole thing.

"I'm hoping I get on a junk mail mailing list with lots of prepaid mailing envelopes. I have got it down to a science on packing those envelopes with as much scrap paper as possible and sending back...

LOL...I am a retired stockbroker. Back in the early '80s, before the regulators made it virtually impossible to make a positive statement about an investment, I acquired new clients through direct mail with postage paid return postcards.

Some unknown person got a cardboard box, filled it with rotten lemons, probably from an orchard here in SoCal, taped my return postcard to the box and took it to the postoffice and mailed it to me.

I forget what it cost me but it was a few dollars...

I think the Plame/Wilson lawsuit is a wonderful thing. It can't get in the courthouse soon enough. Getting those two lying traitors on the witness stand is going to be fun. The old axiom that "if you tell the truth, you don't have to remember what you said" is going to come into play big-time. They won't be able to write their answers down or mail them in.

The discovery in this lawsuit should be quite damaging to Wilson and Plame.

Pardon Scooter. Don't wait for the election. Do it now.

No. Better that Fitzgerald is shamed into dropping the indictment against Libby -- and I've heard there's a good chance of that.

Sorry for poor Libby and his family to have to go through this absurd ordeal, of course. But our lying MSM would make such hay of a presidential pardon for Libby that in the long run, it would be bad for him as well for the whole country.

COUNTERSUE!

These two morons must be held accountable for all the wasted federal money, wasted time and personal trauma caused as a result of their lies and skullduggery.

They are that stupid. Didn't you notice in that Drudge photo that Valerie is starting to show that pudgy dullness that comes with the congenital thug.

Even the people in her "class" at "undercover CIA agent school" said she "dominated" the program, and there's no doubt why. Wouldn't turn my back on that one for anything.

(BTW, after Shields(?) said that tonight you saw Krathammer's wheelchair rocking back and forth with deep chorteling.
