What Israel needs to do is start a ground offensive across the southern border and then turn around in a maneuver of "feigned flight." The bloodthirsty savages in Hezbollah will rush up to close with the "Zionist Invaders" and then the Israelis can land by air behind them at the Litani River and bag the whole lot.

If Israel really wants to crush Hezbollah it has got to find a way to get them to concentrate. And to do that will require the taking of some risks.

No..it just mentioned that there are 25,000 and that Pentagon was going to work to get them out. IF NEEDED.

It would seem that an evacuation of Americans in Lebanon,(or any other of the very few Israeli allies) would send a signal to the bad guys that serious Israeli butt kicking-the kind their fathers and grandfathers told them about for years-is imminent.

Also, think of the generations of Israeli soldiers who have heard the tales of heroism and military success that their ancestors engaged in, while recent generations of Israelis have been subjected to constant terrorism, humiliating concessions, and have turned the other cheek, built a wall, stood by as most of the world turned Arafat into an elder statesman, instead of the murderer he in fact was, and on and on....

They've had enough.

There will me a new crop of Israeli heroes to emerge to stand beside the old guard in their history. Godspeed to them.

Everyone singing McCain's praises today and all I can do is see red because he could have turned the tide on ANWR and other domestic energy and chose to side with the dems, so we sit vulnerable and these idiots (Russia, Venezuela, ME) using our hard-earned dollars to wage war.

I heard this evening that when the holes in their runways were repaired we allowed officials of the democratic cabinet to fly out to safer territory, so those planes we saw flying out this morning were flying officials out. They said if we have to send helicopters in to recover our citizens in Lebanon we will announce it loud and clear so we're not mistaken for Israeli helicopters.

So? It doesn't matter if we announced loud and clear that we are Americans coming to rescue our citizens. Hezbollah will look for a chance to shoot down one of our helicopters to recreate the scene in "Black Hawk Down."

I actually didn't know about CNN Pipeline...hm..that is a great idea...but, yeah- I wish Fox News would have that.

I pay so darn much for my DirecTV..that I just can't see spending money on an internet video service..but, if these 24 HOUR news stations keep NOT showing us the news..I may have to do that.
