Israeli gunners cover their ears as an artillery piece fires into southern Lebanon from a position on the border near Kiryat Shmona, northern Israel, Friday, July 14, 2006.
8:35 and 114 degrees.... so hot yesterday on the lake you had to stay in the water or melt.
Negative innuendo is what you do best, rc.
Watch what he does. And learn.
I'm with ya on that. I would never be able to survive living next to one. Guess if you were raised with it then it's not so bad.
I like Anderson's style of reporting. He's kind of laid-back and usually keeps any personal bias out of the story (in other words doesn't try to make himself part of the story)..
Oh come ON TS...it's not THAT bad.
It's only 5 times a day :)
DANG...Nightline is doing this story...and they must be good friends with the Hezbollah..because the just showed footage of the actual drone taking off..and hitting the Israelis ship..
Also..they are starting every sentence with "The Israelis hit this..."
They are definitely telling this from the Lebanon perspective..which wouldn't be so bad, if it didn't include any of the Hezbollah..and didn't show the interviews with people that want Israel GONE.
He concerns himself with what the right thing to DO is, when the media and sometimes the American people focus on what it LOOKS like he's doing.
Sometimes being a Rebel in Chief has its drawbacks.
Yes...great sign.
Heh, heh... How dare you corrupt this board with facts?! You're spoiling the good will and cheer!!
Syria needs to be abolished as a nation and partitioned among its neighbors. That would be a good lesson to the likes of Iran.
Logged on at post 200 and somethng, and just now caught up.
This thread is moving.
I'm on dial-up, willing to D/L maps and useful graphics, megabyte humor is somewhat counter-productive though.
I'd like to see any updates sourced and linked if possible, and also to remind everyone that early reports are often wrong. Three unconnected point sources (you have to trace reports back to make sure) are what I need before I will srtate something un-equivacobly, otherwise it gets either a disclaimer or an attribution, as in "Joe Blow says..." So far, no issues with the posts in this thread, it's working well as a clearinghouse for information.
Like a Hurricane thread, this will go on for days, so plan accordingly. Best guess sees limited troop movements as soon as Israel can get warm bodies into the rocket launch zones, with a major offensive in 24 to 48 hours.
Syria commits suicide if they move militarily, air or ground before the IDF is fully occupied, and even then Syrian military success is a longshot without significant external intervention (Iran). Same goes for Iran. If those two planned this, they will play us along until their predetermined conditions for a general attack are met.
If Hezb and Hamas went off the reservation on their own with all this, then Syria will react to unacceptable Israeli activity before committing militarily, Iran 2 to 24 hours later.
Jordan and SA should stay out, excerpt verbally, for internal consumption mostly. Turkey? Unlikely.
More on options open to Iran later, as time permits.
Give them a sun dial and take away the loudspeakers.
lmao

I think it's going to have to be door #2.
It's sad, but Clinton News Network (CNN) is whooping Fox's tail on coverage of the war. I've been watching, sadly - with no choice but to, for hours.
Remember, Peter Jennings made his name reporting from Beirut during the war there...
Okay...ya'll beat us...114?? Ugh.
