Israeli gunners cover their ears as an artillery piece fires into southern Lebanon from a position on the border near Kiryat Shmona, northern Israel, Friday, July 14, 2006.
Phillip Morris: "Nope! They were all for me."
LOL, that is exactly what it seemed like..
Then mine must be, too.
Oh, you mean Philip Mooorrrr - riss!
x saying that the missile that hit the ship was a Chinese Silkworm.
yah, but the picture of the misile they are showing on FoxNews isn't a Silkworm.
I'm sure someone can straightem me out on this, but I believe that the Silkworm is a lot larger than the one they are showing. If you recall the videos of North Korea's military parades that gets shown endlessly, they show a vehicle carrying a large, sqat, winged missile (with a troop next to it saluting). That is a Silkworm missile.
The point is, you aren't going to smuggle one into your country like a case of RPG's. Silkworms require a launcher and support vehicle, and are quite different from a Katushka rocket, and would represent another major escalation of this whole conflict.

If it can be proven that Iran has provided Hezbollah with Silkworm missiles, stand the hell by...
Was she a filling in for McClellan, LOL!
She looks like she was having one good time!
He made it very clear that he was referring to making statements such as 'Wanted Dead or Alive' with regard to international diplomacy, as being too easily misunderstood.
We all loved that he said it, but his point was valid........that it wasn't the best choice of words to the rest of the world. His behavior hasn't changed a bit. He's still a 'cowboy' .......and that's a good thing.
It isn't that complicated, rc...........unless you choose to make it so.
Perhaps you just need to pay closer attention to what the President says and does, or keep quiet in your criticism. Around here, there's always someone who knows more than you do on a given subject, and who can point out your error.
In this case, it just happens to be me. :)
Israeli warplanes attack the Lebanese side of a Lebanon-Syria border post, Israeli Defense Forces say.
They just pulled 7/16 - we have to redo everything now?
Suggest you put this thread back in breaking news, rather than the one that is locked..............
You can read the other one, but not reply to it.
It's curious......I thought the suggestion of a new thread every day was a good one.

Did that just happen? I haven't turned the TV on yet.
It IS a good one.
Breaking news.
Thanks.
IMO, they should at the very least, change the date in the thread title...or change the name to just "Israeli War Thread".
Smoke rises from a burning fuel storage tank Friday as an Israeli airstrike lands on a runway at the Rafik Hariri International Airport in Beirut, Lebanon. It was the third time in two days that Israeli forces have targeted the airport, following the capture of two soldiers by Hezbollah on Wednesday.
