I think it's very likely that over the next days and weeks something will happen that draws Israel toward Damascus. At that point Ahmadinejad will have to do something or his prestige in the ME will suffer. Even if Israel isn't drawn to Damascus, if they destroy Hizbullah in southern Lebanon and he does nothing this will hurt his standing as well. At some point he'll have to put up or the real believer will grow disenchanted.

Ahmadinejad: Islamic World to Destroy Israel

Uh hon you might want to notice that in the latest little dust up who is not behind you and your Hezbollah. The would be, oh... THE REST OF THE ISLAMIC WORLD.

They are all quietly backing away. The fact that your buds just blew up a Egyptian ship isn't improving matters.

Keep flapping your gums though, the sign of a foolish man is that he doesn't know when to shut up.

"Thanks be to God, despite its criminal and savage nature, the Zionist regime and its supporters in the West do not have the power to look in the same way towards Iran," the ultra-conservative president said in a speech in the provinces.

Hey Mahmoud Raghead, do you really wana find out?

Does your wooly pea-brain not have a recall ability in that of the "Six Day War?" where the IDF kicked Egypt's, Syria's and Jordan's butt all at the same time (and in the same time it took God to create the Universe)and could do the same today if push came to shove.

First of all, the IDF does not need our help to knock your d*ck in the dirt--you or your "allies" Syria.

So go ahead and keep running your motor mouth and helping foment this conflict and we'll see who is standing tall when the dust settles.

Personally, I think we are being the usual paper tiger wimps and so worried about being the ONLY country left who (most of the time) supports our one true ally in the Middle East.

I hope behind the scenes we are not so much advising Israel to back off as we are telling Syria and Iran that they had better watch their backs.

Only in your dreams, sir, only in your dreams.

When the last shot has been fired and the dust settles down, Israel will still be there. But where will you be?

Ahmadinejad: Islamic World to Destroy Israel

Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Zec 14:5 And ye shall flee [to] the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, [and] all the saints with thee.

Zec 14:6 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the light shall not be clear, [nor] dark:

Zec 14:7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, [that] at evening time it shall be light.

Zec 14:8 And it shall be in that day, [that] living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

What I dont understand is how Iran, in all likelyhood responsible for this entire crisis, gets off the hook scott free, as usual. Theyre sitting back and laughing at everyone, including the U.N. (I guess thats ok, since its the most useless organization on the face of the planet). But seriously, when are they going to be held accountable - for ANYTHING? Makes me sick.
