They don't have to...Syria has 18,000 troops already in Lebanon

You must have missed the news about their withdrawal. Not sure how you could have, but you did.

"You must have missed the news about their withdrawal. Not sure how you could have, but you did."

And you believe that?

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/syria/army.htm

Syria currently has roughly 18,000 soldiers in Lebanon with units in Beirut, Metn, Bekaa Valley, Tripoli, Batrum and Kafr Kalous. These forces are comprised of one mechanized division headquarters (in Bekaa Valley), four mechanized brigades (1 in Beirut, 1 in Metn, 2 in Bekaa Valley), one armored brigade in Bekaa Valley, roughly ten special forces regiments or elements of regiments deployed to Beirut (5), Tripoli (1), Batrum (1), and Kafr Kalous (3).

You are always so rude and condescending with your posts, and you have no idea who you're talking to.

Keep making the fatal mistake of relying on the MAIN STREAM MEDIA.

You're right. Why don't you tell us who you are and why you are spouting outdated information?

And what the hell does the MSM have to do with this? Nobody but YOU is reporting here that the Syrians still have brigades in Beirut.

I think someone else would have noticed. Got links to anything modern?

Actually- he just did an excellent history lesson of the ME...in cartoon form..it was hilarious.

However- Larry King will have George Mitchell as a guest- heard that and immediately switched channels so have no idea who ELSE he'll have on. THEN..I hit MSNBC...only to find- I am NOT making this up..Joe Scarborough on LIVE...with papparazi as the topic. This- while the ME is on the verge of all out war...and MSNBC covers celeb photographers...

I didn't suggest that you check the MSM. You can check any source you like.

If it's rude to point out that you're wrong, then tough. You are the one who challenged my post with erroneous information, and now your feelings seem to be hurt.

Look, I have no desire to pick a fight with you, but it's a pretty crappy comeback to say I'm rude. The facts are the facts and it's pretty important to keep them straight instead of worrying about who's Miss Manners.

Welcome to the Arab mindset of "talk big, but do nothing."

True, but it is a development for them to say it out in the open. That invites Israel to attack.
