Well, right now it would be! We're working on catching up to you today. 95+ with super-high humidity. I get to attend an outdoor wedding reception today! Who plans this stuff? Have they NOT lived in Wisconsin their entire lives and don't know what mid-July weather is lke around here? (In a word; Beastly!)

Anyhow...you and I will work off of opposite schedules. You grow tomatoes and peppers in winter to feed me, and I'll do the reverse when it's my growing season. ;)

I truly believe that America needs a kick in the butt as far as self-sufficiency goes. I can't believe the survival skills and instinct & plain old common sense that's been lost in one short generation! But, nobody listens to me. ;)

That would work. Actually, a lot of people do have small gardens here in the winter -- they harvest what the rabbits and birds don't....
