ah hah... she trusted the government. That was her second mistake (the first was marrying that poor excuse for a sock puppet husband of hers).

Wilson lied again today in his press conference when he said that nothing he found in Niger supported the Bush administration's contention that Iraq was trying to purchase uranium.

Here we have the reason why the left pretended to be upset about the outting of a non-covert CIA employee; Wilson was lying to the American public that Bush lied and that served the Democrat's purpose. Never mind the fact that it is Wilson who lied:

The panel found that Wilson's report, "rather than debunking intelligence about purported uranium sales to Iraq, actually bolstered the case for most intelligence analysis."
http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A39834-2004Jul9

To this day, British intelligence maintains that Saddam Hussein sought uranium in Africa, recently underlined by a report from The Financial Times of London. The British government states "European intelligence officers have now revealed... human and electronic intelligence sources from a number of countries picked up repeated discussion of an illicit trade in uranium from Niger." The New York Times paraphrased the above with a clear-cut story titled: "Intelligence Backs Claim Iraq Tried to Buy Uranium." The essay leaves no doubt as to the claim of Bush in January 2003 that Saddam Hussein was not only was trying to procure uranium, but had been for years.
http://www.nytimes.com/financialtimes/business/FT1087373295002.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

Wilson misled the Washington Post in June 2003, when he told the paper that the Niger intelligence was based on documents that had clearly been forged because "the dates were wrong and the names were wrong." In fact, Wilson had never seen the reports.

When the Senate committee staff asked Wilson how he could have come to that conclusion, Wilson replied that he may have "misspoken" (See first paragraph) to reporters.

I hope this goes to trial and some scrupled attorney grills Joe Wilson like a July 4th Hot Dog.

......Then when VPlame takes the stand, she's exposed as a media whore.

Nothing more than a feeble attempt to continue the absurd allegations against the administration. They're taking their orders directly from the DNC, as the dumbocrats believe this issue will resonate with the average American and cost the Republicans dearly this fall.

Somehow I don't see the average American as being as stupid as the DNC and associates believe.

Said Wilson: "We are under no illusions about how tough this fight will be. But we believe the time has come to hold those who use their official positions to exact personal revenge accountable and responsible for their actions."

It works both ways. The taxpayers should sue these two wannabes for lying about and distracting the government from it's duties. Never mind her own husband outed her - if there was really anything to out. What's pitiful is her entire achievements listed on Who's Who is "became the subject of a widespread government controversy when members of the Bush administration were accused of leaking her identity as an undercover CIA agent to members of the media; filed lawsuit against members of the Bush administration in 2006." If that's it for her, then what a sorry pathetic life.

"I'd much rather be continuing my career as a public servant than as a plaintiff in a lawsuit"

Is that why she did a big article in Vanity Fair, with huge pictures and everything, at the same time she was supposed to be a "secret agent"?
What kind of "secret agent" was she? Pink Panther or Inspector Clouseau?
Is this the RATS's last ditch desperate tactic to try and win the November elections, as they watch Republicans regain their momentum?
To bad for them we have a war in Israel, North Korean firing missiles al over the place.
Plame is a one big yawn.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. That picture of the two of them: a somber Joey in the foreground with Valerie stumbling into the room like a drunken whore, says it all.

If the government betrayed her, then why isn't she suing the government as a whole instead of individuals?

... they decided to sue Vice President Dick Cheney and presidential adviser Karl Rove because they engaged in a "whispering campaign" to destroy her career.

Actually, I suspect that the real reason that these Democrat party operatives have timed their lawsuit to the current months is so that the "alleged" news coverage will coincide with the November elections.

She betrayed the taxpayers supporting her with salary when she pushed her unqualified husband to go have tea in Niger on our dime (so he could then push his political agenda).

Its called poor job performance Ms. Plame.

She should be ashamed to show her face in public.

And she betrayed America by sending her partisan clown of a husband to lie about Saddam not seeking uranium in Niger all to help the Kerry campaign which he was working for. The media is already giving this joke of a lawsuit more publicity than Bob Novak saying no one leaked Plame's name to him and that he himself ferreted out her I.D. No one contacted him to talk about this matter, he called them. And he also says the administration in no way engaged in an effort to discredit Clowny and Slutty. They did a good enough job of that on their own.

In today's NYTimes article:

The lawsuit says the officials’ actions have led to “gross invasions of privacy” for the Wilsons and caused them to fear for their children’s safety because Ms. Wilson is now a target for those who hate the United States. The suit says the officials violated the couple’s right to privacy, freedom of speech and equal protection of the laws.

Are you kidding me? They are the pride and joy of those who hate the United States.  My God, talk about living in another reality.
