What surpised me is he died of a heart attack. Who knew he had one?

Of course no mention of the fact that Slick Willy was also in Aspen at the same time as Powell...

A lesson to be learned by anyone who ever thought for a moment that involving slick willie in your business dealings would end in anything other than disaster.

Perhaps if Ken Lay had been found dead under strange circumstances in an obscure Washington DC park in an apparent suicide with an antique gun, the Clintonites would be silent.

Just curious how Ken Lay reflects on the character of George Bush? After all they were friends and Lay contributed to his campaign.
Or is it just a matter of course that politicians have oodles of "friends" and somewhere down the line one of them is bound to turn out to be a crook?

If I had hundreds of millions of dollars and was facing a long prison term I sure as heck would try to pay off a couple of people and slip away.
Heck, one of my sisters faked her own suicide as a young teen and succeeded in convincing the police and escaped a rather nasty home (evil step-mother situation). How hard could it be?
