Hmmm if iran get's involved get ready for an Oilprice of 200 US $.
How much can your economy take ? How much can public opinion take ? there's not much support left for the war in iraq. And with a plummeting economy and a war on an undefinded number of frontieres and an undefined lot and kind of people - what's your perspective of wining the next elections ?

And with a plummeting economy
The US economy is plummeting? Did you misspeak, or are you galactically confused?

How much can public opinion take ? Wars - the one in Iraq, and the one in Israel, and any one - are not fought for public opinion. Public opinion - especially US and European public opinion - is a whore, and spoiled whore to that.
When assaulted Yugoslavia, Klintoons and Maggie Halfbright told the Americans that war can be fought without casualties (on our side anyway), from above 12,000 feet... they lied.
Iraq shows this very well, the Israeli-Muslim war will show it once again. The only answer THE "public opinion" deserves is:
TOUGH!

Believe less what the US MSM prints and more of what you see posted on FR. The US economy is so hot that, with 17 Fed rate hike increases in the past year or two, all of the BS in the MSM about the War in Iraq, the Iran nonsense, the NK idiocy, etc., the economy is blisteringly hot, unemployment is reaching record lows and the US is very healthy.

what's your perspective of wining the next elections? Depends on how quickly we can build the refineries and begin drilling our own oil as promised by the republicans, I suppose.
Hopefully this will all be done by Nov. 2006.
Americans vote with their pocketbooks. If the republican controlled government fails to deliver us oil from our own backyard, many Americans will vote democratic on this issue.
