In TV-land the moment is infamous.
One of the stars of the longtime hit TV series Happy Days, Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzerelli, played by Henry Winkler, is made to do something by the show's writers that was clearly designed to save the fading series from sinking ratings.

I can't get over that not one reporter on CNN knows the truth about what Wilson was saying behind closed doors.
Joe Wilson admitted privately to Congress that what he found in Niger actually bolstered the president's position that Iraq was trying to purchase yellowcake.
