I don't know the extent of the situation, but I would stock whatever I could and have an emergency pack ready to go.

I imagine that the hotel has plenty of things to stock up on.

Better to be prepared and not need it, than the other way around!

Please, this is not (yet) a war in Lebanon. We use to call that limited military operations, and the targets are not civilians. The Lebanese are not preparing for an evacuation, they´re not going to be bombed out. Tanks are not expected to roll through Beirut.

The best suggestion is to do what the locals do, and have the luggage packed, being ready to go. Flashlights are useful, and batteries. There´s enough food, etc in the hotels available. Our fellow FReeper will be home within the next 4 days I think.
