Damn glad I didn't vote for Bush in 2004. I see damn little difference between the Elite Repubs and the Elite Dems.
I voted for him twice, donated out the ya-zoo and personally campaigned for the man. I was naive concerning compassionate Conservatism. He certainly doesn't deserve all the blame. Congress has spent like there's no tomorrow, and they do hold the purse strings for God's sake. I excused much because I really believed in the man and especially so after 9/11. What finally broke the camel's back for me was the Meirs debacle. After that incident, I knew we had all been sold down the river, and by "we" I mean Conservatives.
