..."I urge my friends who complain about the influence of the religious Right, get out there and get busy. That's what they do! Now, if we believe in the Republican party of Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt, the big-tent party, then we have to get out there and show that. The fact is, some of us have sat idly by while those very active people have basically set the agenda for our party. I get attacked every day because I'm working with Ted Kennedy. How can I work with Kennedy? Because I want to get something done!" ...
Ahhhhh.
Thanks.
No, I only watched early snippets of the film. I think at that period in my life . . . I was . . . exceedingly disturbed by such possibilities and didn't care to have the film stir up more outrage and other emotions at the powers that be who would do such things in a flash and think nothing of it.
Would be great to see how McChurian would respond to the Queen. My guess is he'd be clueless. I think he blocks lots of reality out to live with himself.
But what do I know.
Thanks tons for your kind and informative reply.
"Faith of Our Fathers" must've been a typo. He meant to title his book "Our Religious Wacko Ancestors".
Ann Coulter and McChurian somehow wind up on the same programme. Coulter flashes BOTH the Queen of Diamonds and a film still of Lansbury showing the Queen.
I wonder whether McChurian would go off on Coulter, or whether his brain would just fry in place, or whether he flat wouldn't get it.
If you'll offer 5-3 on the last possibility, I'll take it for $100 -- not joking.
Best to you!
Isn't McCain mostly Conservative?
I think of this guy:
I think the guy is nuts. Have you ever heard him interviewed on Imus? He giggles with every answer and speaks in this quiet, intense almost whisper as if he's contemplating his coronation.
McCain will not be the nominee, most likely because he is too old, 69 at present.
There has to be room in the Rep party for those who do not necessarily follow the religious agenda.
I resisted on voting for 12 years on my own Chinese Chess playing skills when the odds were usually 95%+ that I'd win with the college students I played with.
And, I happen to agree with you. I don't think he'd have a clue.
But, there must be some way to wind his rage up and set it off in full view of the camers and mikes.
Perhaps chants about the KEATING 5?
Perhaps merely chanting" MCCHURIAN! MCCHURIAN! SELL US OUT SOME MORE! MC CHURIAN, MC CHURIAN! SERVE AS TRAITOR SOME MORE!
Part of me deplores being hard on someone who's been through the POW scene.
However, given his probable destructiveness to the REPUBLIC, I say do what we legally can to keep him far away from the White House.
If he were, I'd write in my dog.
McChurian, imho,
is mostly a duplicitous, power mongering, traitorous, globalist, corrupt, rage-aholic, clueless, ego maniac.
. . . mostly . . .
Idiot, if you would just work with the Republican majority, you wouldn't need Ted Kennedy.
ROFL!
Well it should have said 'became'. LOL.
I sure hope not though I still think that is the plan of the "Party Leadership".
That's as two-faced as it gets. He was the commencement speaker at Liberty University this year, where Rev. Jerry Falwell is the Chancellor.
is mostly a duplicitous, power mongering, traitorous, globalist, corrupt, rage-aholic, clueless, ego maniac.
I'm not talking about what you think of him, I'm talking about his actual agenda, it is mostly conservative, is it not?
Haven't examined it in great detail.
Don't think I know enough to confidently answer your question.
My own instinct and sense is that he's layerd over himself very skillfully enough of a conservative veneer to get elected in AZ even though most there consider him a crook.
But I think at his heart--or some other level of deciding factor that governs most of his more significant choices . . . he's a genuine globalist marching to the tune of the puppet masters regardless of appearances on the surface.
Remind me if I ever run for office to diss my base first thing ...
