My grandmother was a hypochondriac and we always said she'd put on her tombstone "See, I told you I was sick".
That's what Rather is reminding me of.
LOL! When are you going to replace my keyboard?

That has been my question for a long time. Wilson was living a very expensive life-style: expensive home, expensive kitchen remodel with granite cabinet tops and Italian cabinets, Oriental carpets and antiques, private nursery for the twins, Mercedes and Jaguar for cars, Rollex watch, etc. All of those items I documented from a couple of magazine articles, including the big spread in
Vanity Fair.Another good question to ask is why didn't the CIA notice that they had an employee who was living far beyond her means?

I think Hillary was there. Clapping away. Hooting and hollering about a completely fictitious story written by a disgraced journalist whose only gig was at a website known for kookery, nonsense, and convoluted conspiracy theories.
To: Peach
So I'm thinking Powell. Sounds like a likely possibility, doesn't it.

Yes, he has. That job ages all of them.

This is an amazing interview with Rather; he's very bitter.
I am very HAPPY!

I just had to turn over and look. Yes, he is, and I am happy, too!
Oh, now he is bringing up NIXON and now Rather is making a big play as the noble journalist and victim. HA!

He's still making excuses. It's not about how he reported the news, it's that he lied about the news.

Yeah, that was great! I've been working all evening and will have to catch Brit's show when I get home, but I have been enjoying catching up on this thread!

What a great photo. I had a cat that looked a lot like this as a kitten. Died after 7 years of organ failure.
He was a good pet.

He's a thoroughly humiliated, discredited person. That a bunch of people in their pj's could take HIM down is more than he can bear.

Yes. You have no idea how many people I have insisted read the chapter in Sammon's book about how Free Republic ruined Dan Rather. LOL

So someone in the CIA confirmed to Novak that she worked there and what her job was? I thought the CIA is the who asked for this to be investigated. I'm confused why any of this happened at all.
To: Peach
Are you kidding?
I ordered it online, but couldn't wait to see it, so I went over to Borders and looked at it.
I'm embarassed to say I actually stopped some total stranger in the aisle and said, "That's me." :-)

Thank you. I could not think of his name. I know, he was probably an old fool, but what happened to him was ridiculous. The sort of thing we used to laugh off back in the day. Annoying but basically innocent.
