My son is handicapped - born with his left arm missing from the elbow on down. Perhaps I should have aborted him, and saved him the trouble of adapting to a world of two-handers.
Instead, I foolishly decided to let him live - he is now a smart 18 year-old kid with a bright future.
Thank God my Wife and I aren't as self-centered and selfish as these people are.

I read a book a few years ago by a Jesuit brother who was born without an arm. He's a highly-regarded cook (specialist in soups) and runs a theater company for the disabled, as well.
