Funny you mention Dan's Bake sale. One of the events that stick in my mind involves the same man.

In 2000 Rush came to Puyallup, Washington to campaign for a moderate conservative Republican running for governor. The event was held at a fairgrounds and was attended by 40,000+ conservatives. Largest political gathering in Washington State's history, (didn't help the candidate win, go figure).

There wasn't as much as a cigarette butt or napkin left on the grounds for the clean-up crew! However, outside the fairgrounds where the liberals held a protest vigil, the garbage left behind was disgusting.

I guess their thought processes just come out the same way they went in.

But then again, that really constitutes two thoughts in a row. Utterly unfair of me to put Democrats, Progressives and liberals to such terrible lengths, but it's for the children, you see.

In 1997 I attended the Promise Keepers event on the Washington D.C. Mall. There must have been over 1 million of us. When we left at the end of the day, so did our trash. The next day on the local news, the media couldn't get over how much cleaner the grounds were compared to a July 4th event.
