The Bush administration said Wednesday afternoon that Israel must do whatever necessary to protect itself.
The terse response came in the wake of an IDF incursion into south Lebanon following multiple attacks by Hizbullah terrorists on northern Israeli communities and soldiers. Two soldiers were kidnapped and three were killed in the early morning attacks.
Billybob Joe-Eddie Jefferson Blythe Clinton and Kim Jong Yasser Carter are deeply saddened.
Let's then hope the treatment is worse than the cure. Perhaps they miscalculated and Israel can finally take them both out.
Um, Brad Stine, I think probably the guy who blows up other people whose beliefs are different than his, is irrational. Of course, in the Liberal's world of moral equivalence, the guy who would kill others over religion, is acting rationally upon a command from Allah. Like, who are we Harvard scholars to judge, dude?
I need to disagree with you in one respect.
Rice seems to have exerted some serious influence. On the President.
"Cowboy diplomacy" is dead. "Global Test Diplomacy" is alive.
And, oh boy, are they happy in North Korea and Iran and Syria.... and Europe.
A smile has even been seen on John Kerry's long face.
DeFARTment? Hey, that's pretty good! I think you may be on to a new FReeperism!
He hasn't shown it yet. Syria is the key.
Bad idea! Work at the State Department would come to a halt every Saturday and Sunday during football season, for about a week before elections, during the baseball playoffs and World Series, and any major NASCAR event (not to mention every Sunday morning for talk show threads). I think many Freepers would agree that the sacrifices are too great! We just aren't ready for so much power!
It's from his Monday press briefing. I'm speculating Arutz Sheva got the timing wrong since it would have been released/published late yesterday and has been quoted in numerous articles today. There may have been a statement this AM, but no one has picked it up yet.
We all have about 8 months to live.
Under the current circumstances, the only thing Israel could do that would cross the line would be moving civilian "settlers" back into Gaza.

Agreed. Did anyone notice that they blew up a train in India yesterday? Huge death toll. How about Sudan/Somalia. There's just too much Islam-imposed death to follow! I had to read a Puerto Rican Newspaper yesterday to find out that the Islamics in Sudan opened fire on a group of young men for watching World Cup soccer (a crime).
I strongly disagree.
Iran and Israel will trade nuclear weapons in 2006.
They have always been counting on the US to keep them on a leash. Well the leash broke and the US doesn't appear to care. Bad news for the Arabs who mess with Israel. The bulldog of the Middle East has been set free.
The nuclear warhead itself can be considered the fist of Iran;the missile that delivers it is the arm.
The Iranian Army is the body of Iran, and Hezbollah is the gluteus maximus... the part that the Iranians must constantly sit on for their own security but which is necessary for a lot of dirty functions they would rather not be seen doing.
It is long past time to irradicate that affront to humanity known as Islam. Long past time to kill all the cockroaches know as palestinians.
There is no reason to parachute them into Mecca or Medina because it is also time to irradicate and irradiate Mecca and Medina and any other place that harbors those parasites known as Muslims
Let's roll!!!
The first world war was really the 7 years' war.

If the Cold War is considered a world war, does that make the next one WWV?
I'm starting to think they'll trade them in July '06.
The SoS needs to be very diplomatic.
If something very undiplomatic (and this sure counts) needs to be said, it must come from the WH.
We've been soft on Iran and Syria, now the chickens come home to roost. I know I saw an article within the last couple of weeks that Rice had convinced GWB to soften his demands on Iran. What a disaster.
