The only question is who alerted Novak to the fact hat Wilson's wife nrokered the deal, so to speak. I think there was no one person. I think it was general DC gossip that his wife was in The Company. Wilson said the CIA sent him to check it out. Ergo, Novak deduced that his wife might have been involved, checked it with Rove, called the Agency for comment, and that's all she wrote. What a waste this whole thing has been.
If I read this correctly, the "primary source" is whoever told Novak that Wilson was sent because of his wife who worked at the CIA. Novak then found her name in Wilson's Who's Who entry. He had subsequent conversations with Rove and Harlow. So there is still a source but apparently no one committed a crime.
I'd like to know who enchante's best bet is on...
