I know what you are both saying re the Libby case. It seems the Libby case has been forced by the judge into a very narrow box. Almost all of the true scope of the leak case has been thrown out, and the Libby case will focus fairly tightly on whether or not he committed perjury.

Although we never got any confirmation, it's widely believed that Novak testified before the GJ, yet Fitzgerald has not involved Novak in the Libby case.

So perhaps Novak feels whatever he has to say will have no impact on the Libby case.
