We've moved way past that. It didn't start out being that way. I responded to someone else's post, and I subsequently had the mods pull it after I was challenged. Anything that you have read subsequent to that is out of context, so forget it. The concern should be for the people who were killed and maimed by terrorists.

I managed to contact all my folks. They are all safe and sound (Thank God!). Thanks everybody for all your prayers! One of my friend actually witnessed the bomb last at Khar Santa Cruz from another train. She and all others immediately jumped out of the train! There was almost a stampede at the station.

India just got done voting to condemn Israel for going into Gaza. Lot of good it did them.

"Who did it???"
Lashkar-e-Toiba. An Afghan-Pak terroist group with links to Al Qaida.

Its a scary thought that just a few weeks ago I was traveling down exactly the same route on the western lines (Churchgate to Borivillie) where the blasts took place today.

"I wonder if all these U.S. Companies who are building processing centers in India considered that terrorists could take out a large chunk of their business?"
Oh c'mon. That is neither here nor there, terrorists took out the prime commercial real estate in New York City not so long ago.
I currently have two colleagues from our offshoring partner working for me in the UK at the moment. Both from Mumbai, and both very upset. They are good hard working people and they feel this every bit as much as Londoner's felt 7/7 or the Spanish felt their train attacks. India has the potential to be a major strategic ally in the region. They are as democratic as any third world nation I have visited and great to do business with. Today I would stand with them rather than make cheap scoring points about the evils of capitalist trade.

I just sullied my browser cache by visiting the CAIR website. Funny, no mention of today's news.

You read a great deal into my post that wasn't there. I wasn't knocking India. I work with some tremendous people there that I personally believe are terrific assets to the company I work for. My point was had U.S. Companies that relied on India resources counted on the terrorists in the area, the tsunamis and the earthquakes that seem to rock the area and what it would do if the area was taken out by something like 9/11. Don't make assumptions you don't understand!

Thats my home town which got attacked today.
I heaved a sigh of relief when I learnt that my parents and friends are safe.
My heart goes out to fellow Mumbaikars. May God give them strength to face this painful situation.
