Bush has the infuriating patience of Lincoln without the eloquence. His handling of the economy has been brilliant, his political acumen great, the verdict is simply not in on Iraq.

No, he will not prosecute NYT treason, but nothing prevents average Americans from spitting on these people, e.g., Sultzberger, Matthews, HRC, Boxer, etc. or their agents, when we meet them on the street. Indeed, the time for "street justice" up to and including historic forms of political expression akin to tar and feathers may be near.

What we need to know about the Left is that they are not merely misguided, nor do they share our "values" while simply adhering to a different path of attainment. The Left is evil. They are sick with a political contagion that is lethal to freedom. There is no meaningful difference between "democratic socialism" and soviet communism, other than the facade of legitimacy attained by a political majority consisting of the compensated, the illiterate, the illegally present, the conditionally informed such as via the "fairness doctrine", and the intellectually crippled, such as those who are seduced by infintile notions of science like "environmentalism". Atop both the overtly communist and leftist "progressive" movements are the same power hungry totalitarians (e.g. HRC / President of Zimbabwe). They have engaged in subversion and demagoguery, encouraging our enemies, and compounding the difficulty faced by our armed forces, solely for their selfish interest in discrediting Bush and "red state" values he represents, if only nominally at times.

Again the war on the home front, against the fifth column of subversion, sedition and treason, openly flaunted by the NYT, the MSN and the democrat leadership, is in the long run the most important battle facing America today.

Without eloquence, patience can easily look like pigheadedness. Without perspicuity, it probably is.
