As I wrote about here, back in January, appearing on ESPN's 'Rome is Burning', he called Jacksonville a 'yahoo town,' comparing it unfavorably with Detroit, which he dubbed a 'real city' because "you can get the New York Times here."

We see 'ol curly-top Dan Shaughnessey at most Red Sox games at Fenway, but I'm not a regular reader of his Boston Globe columns. The few columns I have read, he's seems to be cranky... always complaining about something.
