George Will's point needs to be made more often. The hotheads -- all over the political spectrum -- who demand we bomb North Korea have obviously forgotten or never knew that Seoul is within artillery range of North Korea. Not much point in bombing North Korea to stop their missiles if it results in the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of South Koreans.

Stephanopoulos had proposed: “What if in 2003, instead of invading Iraq, President Bush takes out the reprocessing facilities in North Korea, which according to Secretary Perry, President Clinton was willing to do back in 1993 before they started the negotiations?

We would be in a far different place."

So what if we did? What would that have done to fight Islamic terrorism? Putzes like Stephanopoulos, a Clinton hack who only figured out that Clinton used him when it was way too late, get a network show - that's what's wrong with the Dinosaur Media!

“I don't even believe what I said,”

A momentary spasm of honesty.

“I don't even believe what I said,” Stephanopoulos sheepishly conceded, “So I take it back, you're right.”

Which, of course, begs the question, what else have you said that you didn't believe? Have you made such statements before when you didn't have anyone around to refute you?

which according to Secretary Perry, President Clinton was willing to do back in 1993

It amazes me all the things Clinton was willing to do back when----but never did any of them.

The Clinton spin continues. Had Clinton done some of those things back when, the 9-11 atrocities might never have happened.

No big deal. Georgie made a very stupid mistake. About par for the course. He was a Cintonista and always will be. Nothing new to see here. Time to move on. However, this video news report is sending ripples of discontent around the web:

The Dems are gung-ho to fight wars we are not fighting. Its how they strut and act brave while undercutting the actual war we are fighting.

Does anyone remember how many leading Dems and Dem journalists, during the run-up to the war in 2003, insisted that we attack North Korea, that NK was the real threat? This all the while we were moving troops into the middle east, preparing to invade Iraq. It was clear to me at least that NK was rattling sabers in an effort to distract us from Iraq. Bush refused to be distracted. But the Dems seized on NK as an opportunity to pose as tough militarists.

The catch is that we know what they would do if we were serious about NK. They would do what they did; promise them anything, free fuel, a free nuke plant, anything. Because that is exactly what Clinton and Carter did do. They had no interest in a confrontation with NK when it was their turn at the helm.

Anointed lefty media analysts thinking through only one checkers move in a game of three dimensional chess. As always.

Oh, and Bill Clinton threatened to kick some country's butt again, right?

The panel this week also included Donna Brazile, another font of wisdom. So I guess the show should be named:

Clinton was ready to take out N. Korea's reprossesing facilities? Ha! What a bunch of BS! If Clinton was so concerned about them then why did he let them have those two reactors and plutonium later!!
