the proposals for ISPs to log everything everyone does online (every packet basically), for 2 years, are insane. If that's what these proposals are about, I don't support them. that's essentially like mandating every domestic phone call be recorded in blanket fashion.
If they are simply about requiring better "hooks" to allow lawful domestic surveillance, with warrants, that's OK.
