Hope Hoekstra is happy being a Congress critter. This may feed his ego to whore after the Junk Media's love and grandstand like this, Republicans voters, however, do not reward political treason. Pity we do not have a strong Congressional leadership. This would be one seat to cut a drift. Delay would of told him " Dumb move Pete. Now go get yourself elected, no money, no support and next Congress, no Chairmanship. Oh, and don't bother writing any earmarks or bills, they are DOA". Hoekstra was the one claiming that Negroponte was dragging his feet and going against the President's wishes on the Iraqi document realease.
It's my guess that he was the unnamed source back in March, in the Stephen F. Hayes Weekly Standard article, "Who'll let the Docs out".
At that time I thought the article was BS.

Not much, IMHO, has been made about the Lieberman/Lamont tussle..and just how it is splitting the Senate..and the "agenda" of the Democrats...
Fox had it wrong today...on one segment, they had Jeff Birnbaum with a REP pundit...and they put Hillary in the catagory of backing Lieberman...which isn't true, at least at this point.

George Will seemed somewhat melancholy that with Bush and the Republicans winning this week, that George Will himself has lost inlfuence with the Republican base and his voice isn't the word of the political God anymore.
%%%%%
There is another form of ratings for pundits these days, besides the count of viewers of shows. Traffic to a particular writer's column is known, and I bet the total number of readers who click on a George Will column is down and trending down. I hope so!

Actually I think it was two years ago, I listened very closely to GWB's State of the Union speech and at that time I do remember him saying we were in a WOT that included over 10 countries even then. So while it may seem secret since the msm is not screaming it all over the place I do recall him saying that we were engaged.

We had FR threads several years ago that linked NK Iraq and Lybia with trying to create 5 or 6 nukes, that too was stopped.
