George Will seemed somewhat melancholy that with Bush and the Republicans winning this week, that George Will himself has lost inlfuence with the Republican base and his voice isn't the word of the political God anymore.

There is another form of ratings for pundits these days, besides the count of viewers of shows. Traffic to a particular writer's column is known, and I bet the total number of readers who click on a George Will column is down and trending down. I hope so!

Will likes to wear those smart-looking, checkered-pants that 'moderate' Republicans love so dearly. I'd like to see Ann Coulter really let into him for his slide into irrelevancy.
