Protesters will be kept 500 feet from funerals in Pennsylvania under a bill Gov. Ed Rendell signed Friday.
The legislation, sponsored by Sen. John Pippy, R-Allegheny, requires protesters to stay away one hour before, during and one hour after services. Violators would face fines.

Thank God something is finally being done. My state Pennsylvania might be the beginning of all states that will pass this legislation. That family is repulsive. I just saw the wife of Phelps on Foxnews and was sickened by her nastiness. She said she had 11 children and would not allow any of them be be a military fag amongst other disgusting statements. I would rather see some jail time instead of just a fine.

Rep. Pippy is a good guy.
So Fast Eddy does something good for the troops? He doesn't want their Republican votes to count while they're alive. Maybe he's trying to get them to vote democrat after they've passed.

Who would ever believe you had to pass a law to keep people civil at a funeral. I would even be against people protesting a child molesters funeral because your only hurting the family.
Thanks Big Ed.

We aren't the beginning as other states have already passed this legislation, and any credit for this goes to Rep. Pippy. Fast Eddy has absolutely no choice but to sign it unless he wants to commit political suicide.
This is just a PR smokescreen for the bloated abomination of a state budget, and the small-business crippling minimum wage hike that he just muscled through.
