Had? How was it cured?
My mom did too...I agree with you.
Agreed. My Dad started getting diverticulitis attacks when he was in his late 60s. After that, he just had to make sure he didn't eat anything with seeds in it. But at age 36?? Something doesn't smell right.
They're probably checking the wrong end of this wonderchild
Surgery. 5 inches of my colon removed, colostomy appliance for 9 months and 5 hernia surgeries as a result of weakened abdominal lining. 2 emergency room visits for blocked intestines as a result of scar tissue.
I now have diverticulosis, which is no picnic either.
diverticulitis or diverticulosis?
I was 35.
He must have been looking for illegal voters.
Funny thing is, even the illegals' avoid Detroit.
Possibly the media mixed up colonoscopy with craniotomy.
I have a buddy that has it.....poor guy can't even eat a strawberry.
My boss was hit with diverticulitis when he was 34 and has had it reoccur several times since then.
Diverticulitis or diverticulosis? Diverticulitis usually requires surgery. My Diverticulitis was cut out, I accquired diverticulosis years later. My Mother and my sister both have it too. When my Mother was first diagnosed the doc told her not to eat anything with seeds, now he tells her to eat anything she wants, as does my sisters doc and my own.
Hmm. I don't know. All I know is that whatever it was, it was in his intestines and the pain was excruciating. Attacks landed him in the hospital twice. He said it was probably brought about by something he ate, usually with seeds.
Had my first attack at 41. Ten years later and diverticulosis is a specter that makes me think twice before eating a whole bunch of things, but the hardest part is not being able to enjoy popcorn at the movies.
Prayers for a full recovery.
Or through exercise, very high fiber diet and lots of water.
