I take the Path train all the time from Hoboken into the city. This has given me chills. :-( I worked and left my job at the top of WTC2 before 9/11. I felt lucky then. This news is very troubling.

Me too.
However, last night on MSNBC ( the New York Times of cable ) they were guffawing about this story on the UberOlberMoonbat show .
Olbermoonbat and the MSNBC expert on terrorism-some woman named Yahyah or YeeHah ridiculed the story and accused the FBI of lying about the facts.
It was all a big joke to them, nothing more than a phony PR ploy by the Bush WH.

I'm out of Philly and I take the Philly transit to Trenton and NJ Transit to Newark....where I take the PATH into downtown Manhattan. That's some scary shit. But that many bombers in one car? Why??? The effect would be ten times worse if they detonated 10 bombs in 10 places rather than just one...why waste taht many on a single target?

Officials say none of the plotters was in the United States but that several of them were nearby in Canada. Others had planned to travel to New York from Saudi Arabia. Can we STOP letting them in? Sheesh...

in a TV interview I saw the NY police commissioner say
1. This was leaked prematurely to a newspaper - they didn't have everybody rounded up yet and didn't want the story published.
2. None of the suspects had visited the U.S. yet
3. They had no operations and not methof yet - it was planning only.
