Yes. The church is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and contributions are tax-deductible. And remember, for those who itemize on their tax returns, it doesn't cost a dollar to give a dollar. For someone in the 30% tax bracket, a $1,000 contribution costs only $700 because the gift reduces tax by $300. We also accept donations of stock and property, which are tax-deductible at their fair market value.
