Julian was full of himself. He thought he was God's gift to the world...

It's about time.

Why are they fooling around with John Gibson's show? It's the only one I watch. I love Gibson.

Great move by Roger Ailes. I posted about a week ago that Kelly Wright should get a larger role within the Fox News Cable venture.

I never much cared for Julian Phillips, he seemed ill informed and kind of a weasel. Good bye and have a nice career, maybe MSNBC will pick you up.

I hope she uses those guns when she rings Keith Olberman's doorbell.

What a RELIEF! Julian needs a gig on a cooking show or something like that...I will not miss him on FOX.

Wright is terrific!

Well, I don't think he's totally GONE. I saw him last night on one of the news shows as a Fox News Contributor.

I don't remember whether it was O'Really or Blabbity and Crumbs. Which ever it was, he didn't get nearly as much time as he's been getting on the weekends and it was easier to just tune him out.

For Pete's sake don't tell the world he's Christian! The New York Times won't stand for this.

These morning shows tend to have a greater portion of entertainment than information, silliness than seriousness.

Amen. The "Big 3," Fox and CNN are all heavily laden with faux-cutesy chit-chat in the hours before 10 am. Fox and Friends is as bad as, if not worse than, any of them.

Could I just get some f'n NEWS in the morning? Is that too much to ask? I don't care about the anchors' personal lives, and I'm not tuning in for contrived "chemistry." I just want the damned headlines. I'm forced to tune to the local morning shows, because in between the latest stabbing and last night's apartment fire, at least they throw in a little traffic and weather now and then.

I'm way past ready for the BBC to launch its US news channel and my cable provider to pick it up, because whatever else they do right or wrong, at least they never giggle. I think giggling is a fireable offense at the Beeb.

Fox Morning gives me clogged arteries. Are these morning tv people genetically predisposed to horribly relentless cheer and goodwill?

I can't listen. I'd have to throttle them before my sixth cup of coffee.

Baloney.

Julian was an idiot. And also a liberal - which really means the same thing.

Kelly is an intelligent, articulate guy. He'll do fine.

Paige Hopkins is another attractive host. i was glad to see Phillips gone. he was a loser. They should have brought Mike Jerrick back; he is a real funny guy and a great host. Chetry is beautiful.

I'm with you. I don't care about these cheezy news hosts. I don't care about their lives nor what their kids are doing.

I just want news!

I find myself using the internet more and more to keep informed.

How could you have messed up? LOL! Julian fancied himself as one of Purdue's most illustrious grads and I used to get such a kick out of the co-hosts giving him the business about it.

You're right, the cutesy, chit-chatty Fox 'n Friends is that otherwise excellent network's Achilles heel.

I first noticed Julian Philips as the weekend token liberal when he flared up at any criticism of his idol, Bill Clinton.

Please, folks, a little more seriousness in the morning.

I like her too, and I think she adds a great deal to the show (without taking anything from Gibson, HeeHee!). I used to watch Gibson on MSNBC when he left there I stopped watching all of MSNBC. It was a good thing. :0)

Same here. Althought I do run the TV for background noise, but I usually have it on 'mute'.
