Has YOUR Congressman signed the "Border Security FIRST" Pledge?

Has YOUR Congressman signed the "Border Security FIRST" Pledge, to oppose ANY "immigration bill" that includes ANY "guest worker" or "path to citizenship" amnesty provisions?

Doesn't he or she NEED to... NOW?

Download the pledge: http://www.rightmarch.com/media/pledge.pdf

Until the federal government is willing to enforce the immigration laws that are already on the books, Americans will be highly skeptical of any additional promises to enforce a new and deeply flawed approach -- and rightly so.

If recent history is an accurate guide, so-called "guest worker" proposals will only encourage new tidal waves of illegal aliens -- and make America's uncontrolled and unacceptable immigration debacle even worse than it is now!

Such legislation is a bad idea not only because it creates a transparent path to amnesty, rewarding illegal behavior at the expense of those who are law-abiding and patiently waiting outside America for the golden opportunity to enter our shores -- but also because it would reduce work opportunities, depress wages, and lower worker protection for Americans. Further, it would be impossible to administer and even more unlikely to be enforced.

The most important job Congress has to do right now is to SECURE OUR BORDER against illegal immigration. Millions of Americans are sick and tired of the "inside the beltway" political pandering on this issue that is turning our border towns into war zones, and filling our communities with gangs and Third World colonies; it's time the politicians knew that we will listen to NO MORE weasel words or slick excuses.

This issue is BLACK OR WHITE -- there are NO "shades of gray." We need Congress to pass TRUE border security legislation, not the recently-passed Senate amnesty bill.

Now, we've got a GREAT way to do that -- hold their feet to the fire!

TAKE ACTION: RightMarch.com, in partnership with other patriotic organizations, has geared up to demand that U.S. Representatives sign the "Border Security FIRST" Pledge. We need to mobilize folks to take action right away... So the RightMarch.com PAC has set up an easy way for you to make your voice heard LOUD AND CLEAR -- you can send "Blast Faxes" to dozens of U.S. Congressmen AT ONCE, urging that they sign the pledge to reject ANY "immigration bill" that includes ANY "guest worker" amnesty provisions.

For extra impact, we're sending your faxes directly to the Campaign Office of every Representative that has one -- and we'll keep sending faxes there until each individual Congressman signs the Pledge!

We need to FLOOD all of these legislators with faxes RIGHT AWAY. They MUST KNOW that you want them to SECURE OUR BORDERS against illegal immigration, instead of rewarding the illegals that are already here.

For about what it would cost you in time and telephone charges, you can send Blast Faxes to all of the available *campaign offices* of:

* ALL 232 GOP U.S. Representatives for just $59 * ALL 203 Democrat/Independent U.S. Representatives for just $55 * ALL 435 U.S. Representatives for just $99!

Every single U.S. Congressman is running for re-election NOW -- so NOW is the time to DEMAND that they sign the "Border Security FIRST" Pledge! Click here to send YOUR Blast Faxes:

NOTE: As always, you can also go to http://capwiz.com/sicminc/issues/alert/?alertid=8892176&type=CO to send a FREE message directly to your Congressman, asking him or her to sign the Pledge. It's time that we DEMANDED our elected Representatives EARN our votes on the most important issue facing us today: Illegal Immigration.

Be sure to forward this Alert to everyone you know who wants to see Congress REJECT amnesty and pass border security FIRST. Thank you!

Sincerely,

William Greene, President RightMarch.com PAC

I am sorry. My Congressman is Steny Hoyer and he would not sign such a pledge. In fact he would jump off a cliff if Kennedy or Kerry told him to.

I don't understand.. isn't this activism?

If taking action to let them hear from "WE the People" about one of the most important issue today isn't activism, what is?

The Admin Mod was trying to explain that the OP put it in 'Government', not 'Activism' where it belongs.

Never mind. I read too fast. Looks like the change had already been made before I opened my big mouth.

Carry on.

My congress critter is Jean "The Half-Wit" Schmidt. She'll vote for it if her puppet masters direct her to or if it involves a tax increase.
