But having doubts about whether that would be an appropriate thing to ask for in a novena, he asked a Dominican priest for guidance. The priest answered: "Ah yes, a novena, a wonderful prayer. But what, pray tell, is a Lexus?" So he asked a Jesuit priest, who responded: "Ah yes, a Lexus; reliable, stylish, a well built car. But what, pray tell, is a novena?"
