I had to save my pennies and steal a little from my tiny hurricane fund; then I couldn't walk to the mailbox until Wednesday evening, 4 days after I put some FReepathon ca$h in the envelope.
I've been unable to walk this week because of bad asthma and bad heat and bad humidity and bad ozone.
This is not a "walked 5 miles in the snow" tall tale; it's all true. This is "new money" for FR, as it's the first time in all my years of lurking and now 9-10 months of posting that I've been able to give a dime. Thank $73/bbl oil prices for that.
It works out to about $.30 per month and I know I've way overused my allotment, so I'm sorry.
But, this is one broken-glass FReeper who can honestly and truly say, thank God, THE CHECK IS IN THE MAIL.

I actually really and truly resent any true-blue veteran's treatment who gets shafted by the the VA. And I've worked behind the scenes to help true vets. And yet they don't get their benefits at the most they are entitled to. EVERYTHINNG is at www.hadit.com (permission granted by TBird). It's all in talk threads.
Years ago - as if some don't know - many of us met up at another place. Some of us still talk behind-the-scenes.
You know what - it truly disgusts me, that some here trash me - and know what I do to to help TRUE vets.
