I bet if we really looked into it, we would find that they have breakfast, then they "fast" until dinner.
Where is the MSM great "investigative" ability that they don't point out that a one day fast is NOT a hunger strike?!
Totally idiocy performed by total idiots. Clowns...buffoons. They inspire pity.
Remember the big hoopla that Saddam was going on hunger strike, then it turned out he missed ONE meal ( or was it his afternoon snack)?
Whose half-fast idea was this?
You know, I really don't eat breakfast much these days. I usually wait for an early lunch.
I had no idea that I've been a heroic political activist all this time!
Hey, Cindy Who and Al Sharpton could go for a few days...it isn't like either one has missed many meals recently...
Bravo Foxtrot Delta, Socialist jerk-offs.
Come back when you can do something REALLY significant.....like the Buddist Monks in Viet Nam did......
I think it was Mother Sheehan in her strive for significance.
I just found an excerpt of MSNBC's Nora O'Donnell's interview with Cindy Sheehan (I't quoted by some leftwing site, but the transcript is interesting):
http://mediamatters.org/items/200607060011
From the July 5 edition of MSNBC's Hardball with Chris Matthews:
O'DONNELL: Welcome back to Hardball. Cindy Sheehan is America's most outspoken anti-war activist. But does she speak for America, or just the fringes? She's called President Bush "the biggest terrorist in the world," and she stood side-by-side with socialist dictator Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. Now, she begins a two-month hunger strike to get the American people to join her mission to end the war.
Welcome to Hardball, Cindy.
O'DONNELL: And nor, quite frankly, do you see members of Congress -- and you claim to not be in the fringes, to not be an extremist, and yet what members of Congress support you in your policy?
SHEEHAN: Well, really on both sides of the aisle. You know, we have [Rep.] Ron Paul [R-TX] and [Rep.] Walter Jones [R-NC], who are Republicans who are outspoken critics of George Bush's policies. We have many on the other side, such as [Rep.] John Conyers [D-MI], [Rep.] Charlie Rangel [D-NY].
O'DONNELL: And in the Senate?
SHEEHAN: In the Senate, well, we would have many supporters in the Senate, too.
O'DONNELL: Who? Who?
SHEEHAN: [Sen.] John Kerry [D-MA].
Somebody needs to look up "hunger strike" - and not on CindyWikiPedia.
Bunch of sissies. I fasted for a month once. It says in The Bible not to tell folks while you're doing it, but it doesn't say you can't talk about it later. I was seeking answers. I got them.
I'm not a prophet, but I will predict that the Sheehan gang won't get whatever it is they want.
From the book of Matthew:
Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
They are making a joke of what hunger strike is suppose to be about
One day IS NOT A HUNGER STRIKE
Just think, they can lose some weight and help feed some starving Africans. But for one day? Meaningless minions of a useless persuasion.
One day is trying to get back into your jeans.
With Sharpton the time elapsed between bites IS a hunger strike for him.
I'm on a mini-fast, I haven't eaten anything since 5:30pm.
Why do these people think we care if they don't eat for a few hours
I do, I do, I do! I'm really into meanless gesture.

Bluto: What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
Bluto: And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the going gets tough . . . the tough get going. Who's with me? Let's Go! Come on! AAAAEEEEEGGGHHHH!!
Otter: Bluto's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons. But that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.
Bluto: We're just the guys to do it.
