Each of the bundles contained goodies requested by the Soldiers, including sodas, cookies, beef jerky, CDs, DVDs, footballs, soccer balls, socks, T-shirts, personal hygiene items and an assortment of other treats.

All of this stuff is good, but what a red blooded American man wants on Independence Day is; a charcoal grill, a couple Grade A Sirloins and of course a couple cold brewskis.

But those things will have to wait until a later 4th of July for these heroes when they are home and we their fellow patriots can see to it that they are rewarded properly for their sacrifice for Freedom.

and you don't think that Cookie didn't talk to the Motor Sergeant to fix up a couple 55 gallon drums to be BBQs with Cookie figuring out in collusion with the Supply Sergeant how to get the Charcoal and Steaks. There may even have been a little bit of a Wetter courtesy of Doc in Sick Bay - just for Medicinal purposes you understand.
