With his death from a massive heart attack on Wednesday, Ken Lay cheated justice. And then some. Not only will the Enron founder not end his days in prison, but according to legal precedent, his entire case will be erased from the records.

Anyone doubting the media wanted a pic of Lay in an orange jumpsuit now?
cheated?
To: TheRedSoxWinThePennant
Yes, cheated. Because the Left doesn't believe in divine judgment, Ken Lay escaped the only judgment they think he was likely to face... Theirs.

It's too bad. It would have been a good example for other theiving corporate cheieftans to see him in an orange jumpsuit.

Hey, there was a story on the history channel awhile back about some traitor in England during the middle ages that was dug up, put on trial, and beheaded several years after his death.
I guess the left could push for that...

Unless there is some evidence that
his lawyer had clued him in on this
eradication-of-guilt-after-death
scenario, and Lay actually found some
means of inducing that massive heart
attack, the only possible answer is
that there IS a Higher Power watching
over the lives of us all.
I've always found comfort in that
passage about His eye being on the
sparrow. Somehow the Universe, vast
as it is and even ever-expanding, takes
on a different perspective.

Geez. The libs are just dancing on the guy's grave, aren't they? He's paying the ultimate price for his misdeeds now.

Ken Lay ruined the lives of thousands of people and helped destroy America's faith in corporate integrity. He damaged the image of many upstanding and charitable CEOs by association.
Ken Lay did not operate in a vacuum, his employees were in on the scam. They would scurry to fake trading rooms and act busy to impress investors.
The real tragedy in the Enron case is all of the employees did not get sent to jail. Hearing about the woes of former Enron workers, makes me want to barf.

You said: In short, things worked out for him and his family just fine in an ironic sense. Yep, just like things worked out for Terry Schiavo.....

That's what they don't understand. They don't understand that there is a price to pay beyond death. It's just like coulter says they're Godless.

Actually I think its the opposite. I think the media had such contempt for this guy. not to mention a perp walk in an orange jumpsuit a month before the november elections would leave them salivating.
remeber the media's template. Enron was Bush's fault even though the corruption started in the 90's

Be on the lookout for the Photo-shopped pix of him in a jumpsuit laying in a coffin. *Rolleyes*

remeber the media's template. Enron was Bush's fault even though the corruption started in the 90's Whenever the topic comes up, I always point out that the corruption took place during Clinton and Lay was "brought to justice" during Bush.

Does anyone know exactly what Ken Lay did that Congress and the Democrats haven't already done to the rest of the population?
