Yes, the missus and I love Delaware. It wasn't on our radar screen til last year, when we got curious about it, checked it out, and were very surprised to see how nice the state was.

I don't want to change my Freeper handle--I've had it a long time.

Exit 82--Toms River-is still a great place. But over the next few years, will become unaffordable.

We were able to sell our home even though the down market had just started. Like I tell my friends, start planning.

THAT is an understatement.

My aunt just had her bulkhead redone.

Obviously, her dock was removed in order to have her bulkhead rebuilt.

Now, she went to have her dock replaced, the permit to have it replaced was quoted at $83,000.

Just wanted to emphasize that unaffordable comment.

My sister in law lived in Delaware for years. It is beautiful. I wouldn't dismiss it as one of the states we will move to once we are able to move.
