Why does the NYP misspell "Hillary"?

the June poll in the 2008 first-test state of Iowa, which showed Clinton trailing former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards. John-boy outpolls Hillary?
Wow.

Why did I read it twice by reading it once?

A Clinton fan insists the real message is how badly Kerry did after winning Iowa in 2000 - still, if Clinton loses Iowa, her image of inevitability would be shattered and her campaign could tank. When you are reduced to crowing about how badly your opponent did, your house of cards is about to tumble...

Would NY'ers be stupid enough to vote her in as Senator again if she has a lock on '08? There has to be some doubt for her to keep her Senate seat.
Snakehead spun the doubt about 08 and bubba is playing the crowd.
Spin Spin Spin.

A bloody and divisive floor battle at the DemonRAT Convention with the winner staggering out the door and onto the campaign trail with gay marriage, gun control, abortion on demand, illegal immigrants, and domestic treason as a foreign policy hanging on his/her coat tails.
What an enticing scenario!

IMHO, the she-who-must-not-be-named has such a stunningly low likeability factor as to prevent any national campaign from having legs. You absolutely can not be elected president if you are not likeable, and she is most definitely NOT likeable, and never will be.

the differences between her and say a Condi Rice are staggering. Can you imagine a debate with these two on foreign affairs. Hillary in fantasy land.. Condi in the reality.

What is amazing to me is that anyone would even think of electing John Edwards.
The man is a friggin tort lawyer who got rich off bogus medical law suits
He has served a grad total of one term as senator where he did nothing and spent the last two years campaigning as Hore's lackey.
He knows about as much about our government as Cindy Sheehan and nothing of foreign politics.
How can you be considered a vioable Presidential Candidate if your only qualification is a nice head of hair.

MickMike,
Still think she is a very dangerous threat to the country, but there is a history in the US of the early heir apparent not getting the nomination.

I still say she's like the EU constitution, or New Coke. Touted by the elites, but a big flop the moment the public gets a chance to register its opinion.
We can't underestimate her, but still I just don't see her succeeding.
She's just preventing more viable candidates from receiving attention.
What use will she have for New York State if she loses in '08? it won't be a stepping-stone anymore. Does she wait for a Democrat president to appoint her to some post? Any Democrat successful enough to be elected will have distanced himself or herself from her already.
Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I hope the Clinton "dynasty" is already over.

Well, I wonder what Dickie Morris thinks about this. He is so certain that Hillary is going to be the Democratic candidate for President in '08.

Democratic operatives say the sea change is due to the June poll in the 2008 first-test state of Iowa, which showed Clinton trailing former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards. Losing to Silky Pony! That's gotta hurt!
Wouldn't it be sweet if Hillary! lost Iowa and her support fell apart. Then she would be there sitting on a huge pile of money, and her only play would be to savage every other Donk prospect in order to win the nomination by attrition. The eventual Donk nominee would be severely battered and bloodied, and you can be certain the Clintonistas would be in no mood to play nice with the man who bests Hillary!. The result is a fractured and bankrupt Democrat Party with a damaged candidate limping into the Fall.
Why should the 'Pubbies bother to destroy the Democrat Party when the Clintons will do it for them?

The column says Kerry won Iowa in 2000. That must be a mistake for 2004--I don't recall there being any serious candidates at that stage on the Democrat side in 2000 other than Al Gore and Bill Bradley.

I bet in her mind she shouldn't have to campaign, mudsling or look in the direction of the commons.. why she only has to show up at the front steps and walk right in.. like a crowned queen.. if this was a fairy tale maybe..

My memory of Hillry's national introduction (I think it was in Iowa) where she let US know she was just to smart and important to be stuck in the kitchen baking cookies.
(I spell Hillry like this cause that is how BJ says her name.)
