Glazed lemon sounds lovely our bakery does a lemon curd donut.
The crumble one looks interesting - do you have apple and rubarb crumble in the States?
Oh, mystery. I know just a little of what it's like to hear about that from when my stepson was over there. I'm keeping him in my prayers. And you too.
I adore lemon. sounds good.
Huh? What? You won a toaster??? Congratulations! Is that your first?
If I went up the garden now I would smell the bread proving.
Night
You may, and I love defusing the bushbot accusers by proudly proclaiming it in my tagline. Then, what they heck can they say to call me a mindless robot??
I would be in heaven and a bit more heavier if I had a bakery like that near.......you don't see many of those anymore in the states.......the gorcery chains have taken over...
True. They're like cakes--dry cakes.
Lowes stores (the grocery chain, not the hardware chain) used to sell Krispy Kreme's FRESH. But now they switched to selling their own brand (no thanks.)
Is there a better smell in the whole world? I don't think so.
As per your other request
What excites the boy scares the heck out his Mom! Oh, yeah.

From Q Chef:
>>> Castor or caster sugar is the name of a very fine sugar in Britain, so named because the grains are small enough to fit though a sugar "caster" or sprinkler. It is sold as "superfine" sugar in the United States. Because of its fineness, it dissolves more quickly than regular white sugar, and so is especially useful in meringues and cold liquids. It is not as fine as confectioners sugar, which has been crushed mechanically (and generally mixed with a little starch to keep it from clumping).>>>
from the WaPo
'Bush's stop by the Dunkin' Donuts shop was unannounced. He bought a cup of coffee with artificial sweetener using money he borrowed from an aide since he usually doesn't carry any cash.'
~~~~~
'ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- President Bush stopped by a Dunkin' Donuts shop Wednesday to promote a program to help verify that workers are in the country legally. Behind the scenes, he explored a proposal for breaking a congressional gridlock over immigration legislation.
Flanked by the immigrant owners and employees of the suburban Washington shop, Bush said he wants a rational plan that would treat immigrants with dignity. He said he wants to enforce the borders so fewer people sneak across but also provide a way for those already in the United States for some time to become citizens.'
....'Again, I want to thank you all for having me. I love being I cannot tell you how I love being with entrepreneurs and dreamers and doers and people who are running things, and managers, and to be with my fellow citizens as we talk about a very important public policy, and that's rational, comprehensive immigration reform.'
