No, it's not an entitlement but a return of taxes. With a family that size there would have to be substantial expenditures for necessities (decided upon by the family itself, not the government) and general living expenses.

And entitlement is:

"... a government program providing benefits to members of a specified group ..."

The FairTax is not a government "program" but a tax law nor does it provide benefits to members of a "specified group" but basically to all citizens. Call it what you like however (since you've show that you will regardless of the facts). Demagogue away and mislead as many as you can who buy into your claptrap!!

None of that changes the fact you're using the size of the government check to sell the scam.

If you don't think it's an entitlement, send the checks out for a few months then reduce the amount or discontinue them all together, then tell me it's not an entitlement.
