I haven't heard from Marvin Zindler in over a dozen years.

Still alive, I presume, from your post?

He autographed my Irish Shillelagh in one of Houston's St. Patrick's Day Parades long ago.

Air bubble through injection would leave a mark you'd have to look for and no toxicology.

Sure seems the stress got him or I would think he took himself out (with cooperation of at least one other person).

I keep waiting to hear the line from "Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe:"

"Death's too good for him!"

What Ken Lay et al did was step over the line when things got tough instead of taking the financial hit or fixing the problem. When the deal spiraled out of control he grabbed as much as he could on the way down while trying to hold it together for as long as possible.

The charity stuff was a drop in the bucket.

This is not a unique story.

I thought the same thing until the coroner came out with his report.

Marvin just had a massive plastic surgery job, again.

Could they do a full toxicology in a few hours or did they even bother to begin one?

How did Karl Rove pull this off?

"I've been watching the local news here in Houston today. Lots of praises for Ken Lay and his charity contributions within the Houston Area. They're right, Ken Lay did tons in that arena."

That's very nice.

How much of his charitable contributions came from his frauduelent activities? Also, I bet the people who worked for Enron & lost their shirts would rather he had directed some charity to THEM.

I am afraid I am not too impressed by the "charities" that such characters engage in. It's a standard ploy of convicted criminals to haul in evidence of their "good deeds." I understand Fastow, Abramoff, etc., were also very involved in charitable activities.

All those $1,200 dinners and $10,000 hookers on Enron's dime finally caught-up with him.

No way!

He was stretched to the limit way back when.

I'm afraid to look.

I'm sure that very conspiracy theory is being written to be released as a paperback next month.

I had to laugh. But his network made a huge deal out of him returning and his NEW plastic surgery job.

I couldn't see much difference in his looks. ;o)

He could have also killed himself by going off medicines he has been taking for a while. If he went cold turkey on purpose to kill himself, it could be done that way as well depending on what pills he took regularly.

If he was prescribed blood pressure, pain or other things and they said there was no drugs in his system, he could have gone through an instant withdrawal and killed himself.

Glenn Beck just said (on his tv show) that he faked his death because he was facing prison time. A guy with that much money could pay a couple million for a crash test dummy doctored up to look like him in a casket.
