NORWALK, Ohio The quest for a better picture has apparently brought a 145-dollar fine for an Ohio T-V cameraman.
Police in Norwalk say three teens told officers the Cleveland cameraman offered to put them on T-V if they rode their bikes through water on a bridge. The teens told police a reporter waded into the water for the shot, so that they would be riding behind her.
Police cited Gary Abrahamsen last month for misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Norwalk Municipal Court says he paid the fine last week.
Abrahamsen denied coaxing the teens to ride through the water. But he told The Cleveland Plain Dealer paying the fine was cheaper than fighting the infraction.
Damaging storms hit Norwalk late last month and caused flash floods and two deaths.
BUMP
CNN's gonna snap this guy right up.
Fake but accurate.
Why, when I was a kid we rode our bikes 10 miles uphill both ways across flooded bridges.

Death to sloppy reporting. Apparently the "she" is a "he".
The "her" was referring to the reporter, not the cameraman. I'd bet it was probably the reporter who set the whole thing up in the first place.
Sean Penn would have showed him how to do it correctly.
Scene.
Ever.
The TV station should have immediately fired him for making them legally liable for whatever may have gone wrong.
Cameraman was shooting a reporter. Man on the camera, woman giving the report. manufactured news item occurring in the background.

Thanks for finding that. I saw that live and laughed my ass off that morning.
If a cameraman had asked me to do this when I was a teenager, I hope I would have had the sense to hold out for cash.
